For me, photography isn’t just about turning up, grabbing a few snaps and calling it a day.
The good stuff starts well before we’re in front of the camera.
I want to get to know you, what you’re hoping for and what you want your photos to feel like. We’ll have a good chat about your ideas, answer all those questions you’ve probably got rattling around in your head,
and work out how we can make your session something you’ll bloody love.
We’ll chat about the best location, the time of day and all those little details that can make a big difference to your photos.
And then there’s the fun bit — what on earth are we going to wear?!
Don’t worry, I’ll help you with styling and outfit choices so you feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself in front of the camera.
No need to turn your wardrobe upside down the night before!
Basically, I’ve got you. You just need to turn up, relax and have a good time.

What are my sessions like.
Fun, relaxed and definitely not about forcing everyone into awkward poses!
I’ll guide you with a few games, prompts and activities to bring out those genuine smiles, cuddles and connections. With little ones, we simply follow their lead and let things unfold naturally.
The best photos usually happen when everyone is just being themselves — so we’ll keep it easy, playful and enjoy the moment.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Honestly? Whenever feels right for you!
There’s no magic age — those beautiful little moments and connections happen at every stage. Whether your baby is brand new, a few weeks old or a little older, we’ll capture the cuddles, smiles and everyday moments that make this chapter so special.
Confirming Your Booking
Once you’ve chosen your session, securing your date is really simple.
1. Pay your £50 retainer
Your retainer secures your chosen date and takes your session from enquiry to officially booked.
2. Sign your photography contract
I’ll send your contract over for you to review and sign.
3. Your date is officially booked
Once I’ve received your retainer and signed contract, your session is confirmed and your date is reserved just for you.
4. Remaining balance
The remaining balance is due on the day of your session, payable by cash or bank transfer.
And that’s it — your session is booked! Now you can sit back, relax and get excited for your time in front of the camera. ✨
What do we wear?
The golden rule? Wear something that feels like you!
I love soft, earthy and neutral tones — think cream, beige, rust, white and gentle earthy shades. You don’t all need to match; mixing different tones, textures and layers will make your photos feel much more natural.
Think linen, knits, soft flowing fabrics and simple layers. We’re going for co-ordinated, not matching!
I’d avoid big logos, bold stripes and really busy patterns, as they can take the attention away from you.
And have a little think about your location and the time of year — your outfits should work with the setting and feel comfortable too.
Not sure what to wear? No worries! I’m always happy to help with styling advice before your session.
Sessions with food.
I’d love to include food or treats in your session, but my insurance doesn’t allow me to supply food.
If you’d like to include food as part of your photos, you’ll just need to supply your own. Easy as that!
My editing process.
Once your session is done, the fun continues behind the scenes.
I carefully go through every image, choosing the best moments and giving each one my personal touch. My editing style is clean, bright, natural and timeless, with beautiful light and skin tones that still look like you.
I love natural, true-to-life colours, gorgeous skin tones and images that feel fresh without looking overly edited.
And because I know you’ll want options, any images I choose to edit in black and white will also be supplied in colour — because why choose just one?
When will my photos be ready?
I aim to have your photos ready within 10 days of your session.
Once they’re ready, your beautifully curated gallery will be waiting for you to browse, share, download and enjoy!
Cloud gallery.
Once your images are ready, they’ll be uploaded to your private online gallery, beautifully presented and ready for you to enjoy, download and share.
Your gallery makes it super easy to send your photos to family and friends — just share the link and password and you’re good to go!
Full Portrait Sessions
Your full session includes all of the edited images from your gallery. No choosing, no counting — they’re all yours! Your images will be delivered high-resolution and watermark-free.
Mini Sessions
Your mini session includes 10 edited images of your choice. Your gallery will initially have watermarks while you choose your favourites.
Once you’ve selected your 10 images, I’ll send you the download link for your high-resolution, watermark-free files.
Love more than your 10? You can purchase the rest of your gallery for just £50.
Then all that’s left to do is download, share and enjoy!
Can I buy products?
Absolutely! You can order extra digital images, prints, enlargements, albums and wall art directly through your gallery.
Everything is professionally printed and beautifully finished through my trusted print lab, Loxley Colour, and I’ll take care of the ordering and delivery for you.
