A 30% booking retainer secures your date, with the remaining 70% due 30 days before your wedding.
Once your retainer is paid, I’ll send over your contract and Wedding Day Details Form to fill out.
This gives me everything I need to know about your plans, your people and your day.
Then, closer to the wedding, we’ll have a proper phone chat to run through everything, iron out the details
and make sure we're all on the same page.

Why does wedding photography matter?
Your wedding day will fly by. There’ll be moments you see, moments you miss and plenty you won’t even know happened until you see your photos.
Long after the flowers have wilted and the champagne is gone, your photographs are what bring it all back — the people, the laughs, the tears, the chaos and all the little moments in between.
I’m not just there to take a bunch of pretty pictures. I’m there to capture the moments that matter to you, whatever part of the day you’ve chosen to have me along for.
Because when all’s said and done, you’re not just investing in photographs.
You’re investing in how you’ll remember it.

Getting to know you
I reckon getting to know each other before the big day is pretty important. Once you enquire, we’ll jump on a quick video call to have a chat, run through your plans and see if we’re a good fit.
One good chat, all the important stuff covered — then we’re good to go.

Your people
Your wedding isn’t just about the two of you. Your people matter too.
I’ll keep an eye out for the hugs, laughs, happy tears and all those little moments happening around you — especially the ones you might miss.
I’m there to photograph your guests without getting in the way. No fuss, no awkward hovering, just natural photos of people enjoying themselves.
When we sneak away for your couple photos, I can’t be in two places at once, but I’ll make sure I capture plenty of your guests enjoying the day too.
Want even more covered? Add a second photographer and we really can be in two places at once.
Do you work alone?
Dee is your photographer, and a second shooter is an optional add-on.
Attention to detail
It’s the little things that make your wedding yours — the rings, flowers, stationery, shoes, table settings and all those bits you’ve spent months choosing.
I love the details. So before your guests arrive, I’ll make sure I capture all the good stuff you’ve put so much thought into.
Because chances are, on the day you’ll be too busy getting married to notice half of it.
I’ve got you covered.
Can we still have formal group photos?
Absolutely!
I’m all for a few good family photos — especially the ones Mum will want on the wall! 😂
We’ll keep the formal group shots simple and organised, so we can get the important people together without eating up half your wedding day.
Then it’s back to the good stuff — natural, relaxed photos of your people having a great time.
Whatever package you choose, we’ll make time for the group photos that matter to you.
What about bad weather?
Bring it on.
I love photographing your wedding as it actually happens — and if that means rain, wind or a bit of British weather, we’ll embrace it.
Some of my favourite images happen when the weather isn’t playing ball. Rain can look bloody beautiful, and we can always duck inside when needed.
If you’re keen, I’m keen. Let’s make the most of it.
My editing process
Taking the photos is only half the job — the editing matters too.
I personally go through every image and carefully edit your gallery so it looks clean, natural and true to the day.
Beautiful light, natural skin tones and colours that actually look like they did in real life. No orange skin, weird filters or overly edited nonsense.
You’ll get a mix of colour and black & white, giving you the best of both.
Simple, timeless and bloody good.
Do we get every photo?
Not every single frame — and trust me, you don’t want them all! 😂
I take plenty of photos throughout the day, then carefully choose the best ones. Blinks, duplicates, missed focus and the odd dodgy face get the chop.
I don’t hold photos back just to make your gallery smaller. If it’s a great image and adds to your story, you’ll get it.
You get the good stuff — beautifully edited and ready to enjoy.
When will my photos be ready?
I know you’ll be hanging to see them!
The morning after your wedding, I’ll send you around 10 sneak peeks to enjoy and share while everything is still fresh.
Your full wedding gallery will be ready within 6 weeks — fully edited, watermark-free and ready to download, print and enjoy.
Six weeks might sound like a while, but I promise it’s worth the wait.

Do you keep backups of our photos?
Absolutely. I’m not taking any chances with your photos.
Your images are backed up throughout the day, and once I’m home they’re backed up again while I’m editing and preparing your gallery.
I’ll always recommend that you download and keep your own copy too — because once those memories are yours, it’s good to have them safely tucked away.
Your memories are in safe hands.
What equipment do you use, and do you have backup equipment?
I shoot with professional Canon mirrorless cameras, professional lenses, flashes and all the essential kit needed to photograph your day properly.
And yes — I always have backup equipment on hand. I don’t bring my entire camera cupboard to every wedding, but I’m prepared for the unexpected and have backup kit ready to go if anything decides to misbehave.
If something goes pear-shaped, I’m sorted. No dramas.
What if Dee cant be there?
In 15+ years of photographing weddings, I’ve never missed one. And I plan to keep it that way!
But life happens, so there’s always a plan B.
My husband Chris is also a fantastic photographer, and if I’m ever genuinely unable to make it, he’s my first port of call. I also have a trusted network of professional photographers I can call on if needed.
And if someone else has to step in, I’ll still personally edit your images, so your final gallery stays true to my style.
Hopefully you’ll never need to worry about it — but you’re covered if you do.
How far will you travel?
UK-wide travel is included in all my wedding packages.
And destinations? Absolutely. I bloody love a destination wedding. ✈️
If you're getting married further afield, get in touch. I keep my travel fees as reasonable as possible, so don’t assume it’s going to cost a fortune to get me there.

Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. You can have complete peace of mind knowing that we are fully covered by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
Your wedding is a huge investment, both financially and emotionally, so we always recommend taking out your own wedding insurance too. It’s a small additional cost for the reassurance of knowing that the wider investment you’ve made in your wedding is protected should the unexpected happen.
Do we need to provide a meal?
If you’ve booked The Full Story, yes please! 😊
A vendor meal is appreciated on full-day weddings so I can sit down, recharge and be ready to keep photographing right through to the party.
I’ll bring my own snacks to keep me going throughout the day — I just need a proper sit-down feed when the wedding breakfast rolls around!
What about copyright?
Your photographs are yours to download, print, share and enjoy for personal use.
The copyright remains with me as the photographer, which is standard in professional photography. I simply ask that you don’t edit, filter or alter the images — I want them looking the way they were meant to.
Share them on Facebook, Instagram or wherever you like. A little credit to Deelux Photography is always appreciated. ❤️
I may also share a few favourites on my website and social media, unless you’d prefer me not to.
Basically: enjoy your photos, share them with your people and let me do the editing.
Is VAT included?
Yes — the price you see is the price you pay.
Deelux Photography is not VAT registered, so there is no additional VAT to add to your wedding photography investment. No hidden fees or unexpected extras.
What is the payment schedule?
To secure your wedding date, a 30% booking retainer.
The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.
I keep things simple with just two payments, so once your date is secured, you can relax knowing your photography is taken care of.
Can you hold our date?
I can’t hold dates without a booking.
Your date is secured once your 30% booking retainer is paid and your contract is signed. Until then, it’s still available to other couples.
If you’ve found your date and think I’m your girl, don’t hang about too long! Popular dates can go quickly.
Why do we have a contract?
To protect both of us.
Your contract simply sets out what you can expect from me and what I need from you — your package, payment terms, what’s included, cancellation and all the boring-but-important stuff.
It means we both know where we stand, so there are no surprises along the way.
Nothing scary. Just a bit of sensible paperwork to keep everyone happy.
